Chapter 66: Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was DEAD...

I was very surprised actually. When I checked my MSN, I saw people's message,

"Michael Jackson is my hero!"
"Michael Jackson, R.I.P"
"He is the King of Pop. He changed the music world."
"I love you, Michael Jackson."

To me, this is meaningless once a person is dead. Why? When he was still alive, he was waiting for this honorable moment. He was waiting for people to say something good about him before he left this world.

When a person is dead, what can he hear? Before he died, while he was still on his bed, why was it not any news about his past? I felt pitiful for Michael Jackson.

That is one thing we can learn from Michael Jackson - being different. Though he used to have a difficult life when he was young, he managed to make a difference in his life. He was despised and insulted because he was a black. During that time, black was despised by people. From this point, I really admire him.

Therefore, I want my Jack's Stuff to be different too. I wanted to achieve my dream and let everyone know about my branding. Though it is going to be tough, for God's sake, I will pursue till the end. God, grant me success. Make me focused! I need you badly, God!

The only person in this world who can hear people's praise after his death is Jesus Christ. Because He died and rose again! Hallelujah!

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Chapter 65: Good VS Bad

When it was the Homiletic class, we were given a work to extract the significance between Old Testament and New Testament: Isaiah 61:1-6 and Luke 4:16-24. I began to find out an interesting fact. Jesus did not read out the last past of Isaiah 61:2:

“and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,”

At that time, Jewish were brought to Babylon to be slaves. They were ill-treated badly. So, it is not surprising that their heart contained full of vengeance. They wanted to take revenge so badly. Though people in Old Testament did repent and mourn to God, it does not mean “all” Jewish. I believe they even curse the Babylonians, by saying something like “Beware! My God will destroy you one day!”

The Jewish did not remember the good things which our God had done for them. That is why God kept on repeating, “I am your God who brought you out of Egypt.”, “I am the God of your forefathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” However, I truly believe that the Jewish remembered mostly on the hatred of what their enemies had done to them.

I do not understand why Isaiah, the prophet, wrote this sentence “vengeance of our God”. Whether it is of God or of human, this is not my point. I only wanna tell you all one thing: Human remembers “bad” more than “good”.

Why do I say that? Good and bad things, which will you recall more often? Obviously, the answer is “bad things”. After reading this now, I am very sure that some will say, “No. I am not like that.”

Do not claim yourself to be holy.
Gossip and praise, which do you talk more?
Sorrow and Joy, which do you share more?
Rebuke and compliment, which do you recall more?
Love and hatred, which is harder for you to put down?
Your fav star and God, which is easier to remember?

I can ensure that you are on the “bad” side.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, did not read that sentence “vengeance of our God”. I truly believe that He wanted us to learn to let go of our bad memory, and reconcile our enemies. Instead of “vengeance”, he teaches us to love and forgive. That is why many people are changed in the name of Jesus Christ.

Chapter 64: Logic Sense

Yesterday, we had a choir practice in STS. I felt a bit lazy to attend but it is a compulsory subject. Hence, I must go to grab the credit hour. When the choir practice started, Timothy was sitting besides me. We were given a new song “Lord, Help me be your servant”.


When the practice carried on, Timothy was having a great difficulty in listening and knowing to the music notes. He came to ask me, “Jack, can you help me to figure out the notes? I really do not know any of music theory.”

“Sure!”

While other students were still figuring out the third page of the music sheets, I had completed filling all the notes and handed back to Timothy. He was amazed! “Hebat la kamu… Jack!” (You are good, Jack)

“Timothy, actually it is very easy to know the notes. It is actually very logical. If you take some time to use your logic sense, you will understand how the notes flow.”

“No. I can never know how the notes performed. But I can follow the music coordinator. Whatever he taught us, we will just sing. Isn’t it easier?”

I suddenly thought that not everyone has the same logic sense. For example, I am a person who loves to try something different, so trying new things is always my logic sense. However, for others, they might think that this is illogical to them.

Not everyone will think exactly the same way like we do. You may have your own way. I have my own way. There is why many people have conflicts and chaos in their “own” logic sense. From this choir practice, it began to tell us that I need to understand why Timothy may think that music notes are never logical to him. In the end, solve this issue with him by telling him the true logic sense.

Our God, sometimes, does something which we may think it is illogical. However, please believe that our God will plan the best for us though it may look tough and difficult. Instead of blaming God why life is like hell, it is better for you to find the logic sense of living in joy. It will turn your life upside down.

Readers, what I am trying to say… is to understand others first before you start to use your own logic sense and argue the meaningless matters. You might even hurt others unnoticed and unintentionally.

Chapter 63: Among All Religions…

On the first day of school in Semester 2, I was shocked that the Homiletic lecturer had already given me 8 assignments! The first assignment was to hand up on next Friday. This is crazy, man!


My feeling was a bit odd when I entered the school. I do not know how to describe. However, when the lesson started, I felt very excited again. The Homiletic lecturer was actually from Hong Kong. He was a professor in Theology. The way which he expressed on preaching is very interesting and appropriate. I found that it was quite excited and fun too.

Unlike another lecturer who teaches us the subject “Islam”. I almost slept in class. He was from Germany. He is seriously a professor in World Religions. He studied all kinds of religions: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and others. Hence, if you raise your hand and ask him anything… ANYTHING… he will answer you wisely. He was too familiar to all kinds of religions. I respect him with due sincerity, but I almost slept in his class. Wah! The German essence… Forgive me, lecturer.

I am amazed by his “one” thing. Among all the religions which he had done researching, he chooses Christianity. From this wonderful testimony, we can know that our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed true and faithful. He said that Jesus Christ is the only one who changes his life. This is incredibly a great testimony to me.

Readers, why does he teach us in all kinds of religions? It is because he wants us to understand the hearts of people in other religions. He also wants to make us assured that Jesus Christ is the only one God and one Lord in this world.

Jesus Christ is our Lord, our Savior and our God.

Praise His name forever.

Chapter 62: Father's Day

I was singing a song on Father's Day.
I love this song very much.


Father is important to us. Cherish your father while he is still on earth. Today, I had a dinner with my dad. He seemed very happy and he shared many things about his life. My father is different. He loves to talk to his children. He can joke with us. I praise God for my father. He is indeed my great father.

It goes for the same. Our Father in Heaven loves to talk to us. However, most of all the churches, most of the Christians always forget one thing on Father's Day - to say "Happy Father's Day" to our Heavenly Father. They prayed for all the fathers, and they said "Happy Father's Day" to one another, but they forgot that our God is our Abba Father too.

Readers, please remember to say "Happy Father's Day" to our God Almighty.

Chapter 61: One Step Closer

MSN window popped out, saying “Tired…”

“What’s up?”
“Wanna rest! Lunch later?”
“Ya! Having lunch together?”
“Ok, lunch at Wisma Merdeka.”
“Where about in Wisma Merdeka?”
“Near Coffee Bean, it’s called ChocoCafe.”

Huh…? ChocoCafe?

When I reached ChocoCafe, Timmie was waiting there with George. I was wondering that Timmie likes that kind of place… Wow!

I ordered Turkey Ham sandwich. And it was delicious. I believe it is good to eat light lunch sometimes. Timmie ordered crab sticks… This is so funny. I did not know she prefers finger foods. Now it will be easier for me to bring her for meals. Feed her with fries, nuggets, and sandwiches…

During the lunch, we actually discussed a youth who was lonely. That youth (a girl) always think that no one will care for her. Nobody wants to know about her misery. I was thinking that most of the people in this world are really sorrowful. However, I was glad in one thing. This girl looked for me in MSN and shares her sorrow to me. I thought this is pretty miserable. I asked in my heart, “Jesus, how would you feel?”

Timmie said that she showed sympathy to this youth too. She actually asked me a few times, saying, “How is she? What happened in her life? I wanna know.” When I heard that, I was actually feeling that Jesus would feel the compassion for that youth too.

Readers, why are there so much sorrow in this world? I wanna state the real fact – there are many people who are very lonely and sad. This is my miserable experience. I dare to test you one thing. When you are alone, suddenly you will feel moody and miserable. Bad thoughts came into your mind. And you start to think life sucks! Today, more than 20 people came to me and share that they are lonely and sad.

I just wanna ensure you one thing. Life is yours. Do not say, “Well, this is LIFE…”

Chapter 60: If you’re not the one

This song is one of my favorite songs. I have made a cover for this song.

Actually I was thinking about this song for a long time. I always want to sing it. Hence, I was trying to find time to sing this. When I was searching for this song, guess what?

I was surprised that Mary was singing this song with Rebecca in her YouTube. This is crazy! I was thinking this world is too small. Somehow when you wanna do something, one of your friends will definitely click on the same idea as yours. This world is really interesting.

When I viewed their video, they were really enjoying themselves singing this song. Well, it is you who will judge whether their voices are wonderful. I apologize for the RAW recording. It will not be like Studio. I just record one time - for fun only. I hope you all won't mind about it.

Readers, the funny thing is that I sang that song at about 11PM at night. I could not sing it loud, or else my neighbor, Vun Hui will shoot me to death. If people ask me why I chose this time, my answer is "This is my freedom."

Chapter 59: I Want My Life Back

When I was surfing in facebook yesterday, I saw many sad posts from my friends.

“… am crying.”
“… hope it will be fine. Really scare of troubles now.”
“… am not in the mood. I felt very disappointed.”
“… miss my parrot badly.”
“… is sick.”
“… is very sad. I thought…”
“… Life sucks!”
“… is stupid to cry. I have to be strong.”
“… my parents do not care for me. I wanna cry.”
“… why my heart is so painful now?”

I used to be like that a few months ago. This is really miserable. And I know that I have to stand stronger in Christ. Therefore, I wanna say that life without God will bring sadness. Readers, put God first in your life.

Now I am very happy with my life. (I do not say “forever”.) I have good friends around me. They will support me and encourage me. I will stand even stronger and forget my past.

I felt blessed that many friends supported me when I posted “Jack’s Stuff wanna start pursuing one of his goals – photography.” I will not be the same. I will change my life into good.

Right now, I want my life back.
I wanna be the old Jack’s Stuff again.
I will pursue my dreams and goals.

Chapter 58: Jack's Stuff Models

Yesterday, when playing facebook, I saw my friend, Vencent uploading some of his photography. Then I realized that he is working as a photographer. I was surprised that he was actually interested in photography.

I went to click the photos… seeing his model, Miyako wearing a Japanese school uniform. I found the pictures decent. I was quite glad that Vencent’s skill is quite good. Vencent also encouraged me to get my interest back. He said that he would love to see my photography and learn something from it. Then, I thought, “Who will be my model?”

Suddenly, it reminds me of my models, Hemelia and Maria. My disciples are my models too. Kinda miss them… Actually this is one of my interests – photography on people.

Many people may say such excuses like
“I am not suitable on photos.”
“I am not a photogenic.”
“I hate taking photos.”
“I do not like people to take my photos.”

However, they always lie about the hatred of taking photos. When you check out their profile, they always have their own “SS” photos. That is why I treat their word as rubbish when I hear any girl who said, “I dislike taking photos,”

TOTALLY NONSENSE!

In fact, in their hearts, they truly hunger! No offence. When some girls have their nicely and beautifully taken photos, why do those jealous girls gossip about them?

My friend SMS me yesterday, and asked me about photography. She was interested in my photography. And we had a good conversations on photography. I should thank her that she wanted to be my Jack’s Stuff model. Wow! This is really amazing. She stirred up my heart once again.

I seriously asked her,
“Girl, you sure you wanna be Jack’s Stuff model?”
She replied confidently, “Well, I would love to. Never try, never know. Ya?”

In the end, I promised her that she will definitely be my Jack’s Stuff model. I hope readers will be looking forward and supporting on my photography. I will update my Jack’s Stuff models whenever there is one.

By the way, if any girl who thinks she is outstanding, who is confident in her beauty, and want to try on my photography, just drop me a message. I will definitely give my best photography to you.

Chapter 57: Jack, Wouldn't you be Sad?

My dear disciples (Gabriel Pang and Jack Mok) were asking me, “Jack, would you not be sad?”

I thoughtfully answered them,

“Though I am sad, I must show a good example to you all. Since I had made this decision, I shall never turn back. I shall never return and ask for a second chance.”

“Never will I shed a single tear. I shall move forward and live on my life to the fullest.”

“Since this is the fact, it is useless to weep. Whether we laugh or cry, the fact still remained. I shall have no regret!”

“Since we had written this story, we should accept it with sincerity and humility.”

“I am your leader. I had shown you my mistakes. Do not follow my mistakes. Learn from it.”

“Leader is supposed to lead you closer to God. Mistakes which leaders had made can bring teachings to his disciples.”

“God will guide me even better in time of wounds. I will not fall, because I fix my eyes on Jesus once again.”

“Never return back pitifully to the people whom you used to desire with. When they saw your faith, they will respect you even more. They will learn from your strength and endurance.”

Chapter 56: Drag Me to Hell

Yesterday, three Tawau youths, Colleen, Corzin and Kristen came to KK. So we ended up going out to One Borneo to watch the movie "Drag Me to Hell"

If you ask me whether this movie is nice, I give 5 stars for it. It is very impressive. Most of the Horror movies are boring. This horror movie is not boring, seriously. Most of the people closed their ears and eyes while watching. The sound effects are very good.

Crazy, this Ah Ma... So hard to let her die in peace...
I was sitting in between Colleen and Kristen. At first, Colleen said, "Hmmm... I am not afraid of horror movie."

After the introduction, Colleen and Kristen, were screaming. Then I said to Colleen, "Now do you feel scared? If you are not, go... Sit another row." (This is obviously bullying her)

Then throughout the whole time, Colleen was grabbing my left hand, and Kristen was grabbing my right hand! What the...? They were pulling hard, and I felt that I was like tore apart. Whatever the horror came out, I could not even close my eyes with my hands because they were holding my hands so tightly!! These two girls were really dragging me to hell, man!

After the movie, my hands were like... disconnected... But overall, I enjoyed my day with these naughty girls. It's been a long time that I did not enjoy a time like that. It is so nice to BULLY THESE GIRLS! We have Big Apples donuts before leaving One Borneo.

Chapter 55: Back to the same

It's been a long time I did not update my blog. I believe many things happened during this period of time. I did go through a hardship and get it right.

Indeed life is unfair. Accept the fact. That is why it is so interesting that you are living in this world. Sometimes the life which you are living can
give you HELL. You would hate and choose to end your life quickly. But wait...! Why are you so foolish?

I had accepted my fact. I believe in faith.

Jack's Stuff is back to the same
Life will not be the one which you want it to be. Whether you like it or not, you have to accept it. I hate people saying, "This is life. What do you expect?" To me, that is totally nonsense. Only those cowards will say like that. In fact, we should fight to change it. Therefore, I only have one thing to share.

Pursue and force into the way which you believe it will come true, do until
your goal is successful.

This time, I am back to the same again. I have thrown away my burden. The LORD has removed my stronghold in me. I admit that I lost my focus and my goal is shaken during this period of time crisis. I am declaring that I am a free man now. Praise the Lord. I am back to my own again. And no one will stop me again.
