Chapter 122: Christmas Day

Chapter 121: His Birth

As the time strikes 12AM midnight,
I was reminded "Jesus was born in Bethlehem..." Naturally, I will know it is about the birth of Jesus.


Merrily, everyone in facebook, YouTube, myspace, friendster, and anywhere else will greet one another with "Merry Christmas". However, sadly to say, there were only a few remembering to greet Jesus Christ "Happy Birthday". Not many people give thanks for His birth though they know about it.

Though it is important for us to share the good news with people, we must also honor Jesus by giving thanks to Him for His glorious birth to this world.

Readers, do greet our Lord Jesus Christ "Happy Birthday" and give thanks for He came to save the lost. We are redeemed by His precious sacrifice atonement. Once for all, he died for humanity; whoever believes in Him and follow His way shall inherit eternal life. People always imagine Jesus as a weak baby whenever Christmas comes. In fact, Jesus is no longer an infant. He is risen and He had conquered the death. Christmas is a time for us to give thanks for God's salvation, at the same time, sharing the good news with the people.



That was the night when a Savior was born... First he came as an infant, weak and defenseless. Right now, He is still alive, now sitting at the right hand of God, preparing for the second coming... Second time, when He came, He will reign with glory and honor.

Hebrews 1:3
"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

Chapter 120: Ibu's Teaching

She was satisfied with the video clip which I had done for her. That was an important clip for her. She needed to bring it back to Australia to show God's ministry in the work of the Filipinos throughout Sabah. I was touched by her passion for Jesus, that she had started to serve Jesus Christ at age of 20s. Until now, she has no regret serving Jesus.

After I had done the mission video clip for Canon Sylvia Jeanes, we had a long conversation. She began to ask about my situation. She could see that I was spiritually tired and depressed. "Worrying about your future, Jack?"

"Ya, Ibu. I need to be true to you. Actually I was still finding out who I am. Sometimes I was wondering who I am. And I seriously question whether God still be with me. Though I still worship God, I still praise God, I still love God, am I choosing the right way?"

She smiled at me, said "Jack, seriously speaking. You are a potential person with special gift from God. From the video clip which you had done for me and God, I truly witness that God has given you a very important gift which God will use it mightily in the future generation."

"Am I on the right track with God? Do you think God will bless my journey?" I continued to ask.

"Jack, no one will know except you and God. Let me figure it out for you. You said you do not know who you are right now? I should say you are trying to find a way to achieve your goal - the ultimate purpose for glorifying God in your life. You are still finding a way to break through, and accomplish what you desire to do for God. Currently, you cannot find it; therefore you are tired and depressed. I believe God will show you the way.

Jack, do not give up on what God has called you to do. You are not on the wrong path, as long as you fix your eyes on Jesus. You believe that this is what God has planned for you, go for it. No matter what people said about you, only you know. They will not understand. I said again, as long as you focus on God's kingdom, I am always supporting you.

I only worry one thing about you, Jack. As far as I concerned, I knew that you are worrying about money to stay survived. Believe in God, and never lose hope. Focus on God in every way you do. And God will provide what you need. As you can see right now, God has faithfully answered your prayer by giving you a camcorder. I am afraid that you may lose your vision because I believe right now you are in desperate of money. Remember that you do everything for God, showing good deeds, presenting Gospel to people, and focus on God, you will be guided by God.

Just as I said before, showing good deeds is one of the ways to reach out the lost souls. Through your video business, show your good testimony to others. Be the light of the world. As it was written in the bible 'let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.' Jack, I am excited to see how God will use you in society. I earnestly bless you that God will lead you to where you desire to glorify God. May God bless you."

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Chapter 119: Continue to Move on

I praise God for His mercy. Once I got my camcorder, I will start to make business. I do pray that God will continue to bless in my journey. I need Him in my life.

As I was doing something in my room, my daddy entered my room and sat on my bed. He had a long conversation with me. Then he began to say something about lifestyle.

"Jack, as we show our good deeds to others, God will delight in it. Wherever we are in, no matter what circumstances we will face, we must be faithful in what we are doing. I believe when we are placed in that particular position, and when we do our best in that position, God will certainly bless us and others through our particular positions. Hence, we must do our best for God."

I was thinking that it is true. Not only to evangelize, to preach the Gospel, we must also live out our faith for Jesus Christ. We are called to be the light and the salt for Jesus. Therefore, in our Christian lifestyle, we must show our deeds to others and they will see and know who God is in our life.

God, I continue to ask for Your leading, and I shall not be afraid to move forward. Sometimes people around me (whom I do not even know) say something about me being misleading and giving wrong teachings, what do they know about my relationship with God? Why should I argue with them? No matter what they say about me, I do not care. But if I see any good advice for those who show me true sincerity and love, I will surely take it. And I will seriously thank those people who are part of my life, building me up and strong in Christ. For I know they wanna see my success in glorifying God.

I will continue to live for You in what I am doing, God. It is because that is my relationship with my Lord, Jesus Christ. I will not give up. I will continue to move on.

God, be with me.

Chapter 118: Is It Possible?

I woke up in the morning, and start to figure out in shooting video for people such as wedding video.

As I looked into the YouTube for more ideas about wedding videos. I was feeling strange that how can a videographer be possible to run up and down for the wedding video. So I called my friend who introduced me about her wedding video, she is also a beautician.

"Hey! Why do I feel that there are more than one videographer in your wedding clip?"
"Yes, Jack. There were two videographers at the same time. Both of them will shoot different angles."

To my surprise, I began to shiver a bit, and i could feel my goosebumps when I heard "two videographers". I will be doing the video by myself alone. Then she suggested me, "Jack, you can call for assistant partner."

What?! Assistant? The problem is if both different videographers will have different point of view in shooting. Not all of us will have the same view and ideas in shooting videos. I began to feel even more panic. By calling assistant, you need to pay him for cooperating with me. I rather not to call anyone to help.

"No, my friend. This is not a good idea. Different videographers, different views. I believe he will NOT shoot the same as I did."
"That is true also. But some videographers they did it by themselves alone. I believe it should not be a problem for you, Jack."

I was panic, and was thinking God "Is it possible?"

Some friends, who know me well, said that I could do it well. Maybe they tried not to discourage me or what. Anyway, I felt stressed. At this time, some people might curse in what I am doing right now. And I have no time to argue this or that. Am I under persecution? Not that serious, I believe. This is only to persevere through the beginning of hard journey. However, I only know one thing... God delights in all our hard efforts when we do our best in anything (except those sins against Him) for His name.

God, is it possible to shoot a high quality wedding video by using one videographer? To glorify Your name in my particular job, to show good deeds to people in Your name, this is also a challenging task. All I know is that I must put it full efforts in anything I do for His name; therefore, God will bless the works of my hands. As I was asking God this question "Is it possible?" in one morning, my computer displayed a song of Hillsongs singing...

"Nothing is impossible for you. You hold my world in Your hand."

"We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;"

Chapter 117: Our End, God's Beginning

I was glad that my video business is in process of preparation. I will start doing my business officially from 14 December 2009. Before that I was facing a tremendous issue about my computer.




"Jack, let's do our best for the video business once the camcorder comes!"
"Michael, glad that you are on fire! Let's do it!"

"Do you have the I-link port which can transfer the data from camcorder?"
"I guess so. Let me check."

To my surprise, there was no I-link port in my ASUS computer! I-link is supposed to allow a fire-wire to be connected from the camcorder. I do not have it! This ASUS is a good computer. Everything which I needed was already covered except I-link port. If I do not have I-link port, what is the use of the camcorder then? If I cannot transfer the data from camcorder, then what the heck am I ordering a camcorder?

I went to Karamunsing Complex to ask every computer shop whether they can solve my problem. I even asked "Is there any cable which can connect both USB port and fire-cable?"


"I am sorry, sir. We cannot help. USB is a low-performance connection, and Fire-cable is a high-performance connection. I doubt it works. Moreover, there is no such thing as USB cable with Fire-cable function."

My horror began to fill my mind.
Darker and darker... Thinking,
"That's it? So this is how it ends? ASUS with no I-link port... I cannot believe that i bought a wrong one."

I was like... numb in my mind. I was financially in need! No more money... How am I going to "grow" money to buy a new laptop again? I mean really no more! I even prepared myself to eat grass daily. I mean REAL GRASS.

"God, You gotta be kidding. I thought everything is in line smoothly. Now I am wrong. God, am I going to end my dream here?"

Then Michael comforted me and encouraged "Brother, do not give up! My leader can face even bigger problems than these."

Then suddenly, my stubborn attitude told me that "God is bigger than this issue." My mind told me "When we meet our ends, there will be God's beginning." When we face problem, and we thought "This is it.", God will make our end His beginnings and He will finish our goals in the end.

Then Michael suggested me VAIO laptop. At that time, it was 3AM on Sunday morning. I could not believe my brother was still supporting me. He continued "Jack, VAIO will be good. Though you are lacking of money, it is really a good stuff."

God, I just need a few thousands cash to exchange my ASUS into VAIO. Please! This is the only last bit. When we face our end, You will reveal Your glorious help on us. Just because of this I-link port, it also stopped me from pursuing my goal.

In the end, God answered my prayer and here is the evidence.







Right now, I gonna face MAGGI daily. If not, REAL GRASS. God, be with me.

Chapter 116: 2012

Yesterday was Christopher's birthday. He invited me and Amanda, my dear for dinner and movie. The movie is 2012. Before that, everyone in Facebook was saying that 2012 is really an awesome movie.

After watching 2012, I was very amazed by the multimedia guy. He is a genius in his marvelous video editing. How I wish that I can be like that one day for my video business.



Many people who watched 2012 will probably get the same message about "Love one another", that is to appreciate those who are besides us, and ask one another for forgiveness. And most people learned that human beings cannot be selfish, because all of us are living in this world. Supposedly we are one family in God's creation. Therefore, regardless of religions and races, we are one, and we should be united to save one another.

However, I believe most of the people who watch this movie will not get the same idea as mine. This is an important message which everyone will listen and therefore forget. Hence, let me remind the readers one more time.

The black was fighting for the right to save the humans who were still outside the ship. In less than ten minutes, the waves would wipe out the rest of humanity if they were late to save them outside. Then this black said, "I have a friend. Now he is dead. He was the one who tells us about this information. Because of him, there is why we are saved. Unfortunately, my friend sacrificed his life and died in the tsunami."



Just because of one man, the humanity is saved. Just because of one information, the humanity is saved. Though he sacrificed his life for humanity, it's worth after all for the saved humans to carry down their next generations.

Readers, here is the real message. There is ONLY one man who can really save humanity when the judgment day comes. He is the Messiah, Jesus Christ. He was sent by God, the Heavenly Father, to do God's will - to save humanity. One information Jesus brings - those who believe in Him and they shall be saved.

John 6:40
"For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 12:50
"I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say."

For those who do not believe, they are already condemned. Jesus Christ did not only come to world with this information, he also sacrificed his life for us, once for all. The cross is the mark of Jesus' redemption. But he rose from the dead and lived again, till this present day, and forever He shall live! Hallelujah!

Jesus warned us about the end of days. I tell you the truth. You think the movie 2012 is scary? The judgment day will be ten times more horrible than this. Therefore, repent and turn back to God. Believe in Jesus Christ and inherit eternal life to build relationship with God, our Father in Heaven.

John 5:24
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

Chapter 115: Her Tears

Yesterday, as promised to Canon Sylvia Jeans, I went to borrow the handy camera from the STS again, and rushed to her house for video shooting again.



As I reached the playground where the children were supposed to have their Sport Day, I saw a group of Roman Catholic youth organizing the games for the Filipinos children. They were very energetic and youthful. I praised God for their compassion upon these children. When I started to shoot video clips, I realized that the helpers including the teachers were sitting there doing nothing. And I found out that Cannon Sylvia Jeans was not there.

Immediately, I drove to her house and found out that she was preparing something alone. I offered myself to help her in anything she needed. Then she said to me with a smile "Jack, help me to carry these things into the van. Thanks."

As I was moving the things into her van, she instructed one helper to arrange tables and chairs, even she herself needed to do that. I also helped in doing that.

Then she was annoyed and tired, I said nothing but to stand besides her, seeing how she was. Then she suddenly said "Jack, I do not understand that why people do not understand what they ought to do."

I was puzzled. She continued "The helpers just sat down there, doing nothing. Can they not see that we have so much things to do? I must approach them and say 'lift this up', then they will lift up; 'put here', then they will put here; 'put there', then they will put there. If not, they will just sit there and do nothing. This really frustrates me."

I patted on her shoulder and gave her comfort and encouragement. When I saw her disappointed face, it actually made me feel upset too.

When we reached the playground, I unloaded all things and brought them to the field. Then Canon Sylvia Jeans came to me and said "I am glad that you will do it by yourself. I appreciate your initiative actions."



"You know what, Jack. There was a time I conducted a meeting with all these helpers and teachers. I organized an evangelistic meeting in my house. It supposed to be a party and fellowship. So I told them to invite their friends especially the children parents. I took the initiative to cook a lamb for a great feast. On that very night, no one turned up except the teachers and helpers."

I was shocked and I opened my eyes wide, looking at her. She smiled at me and said "Jack, why do people not understand the heart of God? It really hurts me."

As she said this, her voice trembled. I sensed a strong sadness in her heart. And to my surprise, I saw her tears running down from her eyes to her chin.

She cried for the sake of Jesus Christ. I was upset at that moment, giving her a comfortable pat on her back. Lastly, she said "Jack, when we are on the mission in the future, not all people will understand what we are doing. It really hurts us."

"In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free."

Chapter 114: God's Magnificent Plan

I could not believe at first, I am investing in a videography business. What do I need now?

1) Video Camcorder
2) Laptop
3) Printer
4) CD and CD casings
5) Namecards
6) Friends
7) Business



I do not know whether I have made the right choice. However, God has answered some of my difficulties in getting these items. It is extremely hard. For normal people, they have already given up and move on a normal job. I do not want this. I want to challenge myself into this society where I can meet many people. Hence, Gospel can be shared. First in Malaysia, second is the world.

When I recalled back my childhood, I do not know that I will end up starting a video business. However, as I thought it over, I realised that God has actually started the gift of creativity in me when I was five years old. I did not truly understand this until I decided to start a video business.

Childhood memories:
1) First Rank in drawing (Kindergarten)
2) Start drawing my own face, though failed (6 years old)
3) Start my own comic. (9 years)
4) Creating my own characters (10 years)
5) Representing my Primary School for Art Competition (11 years old)
6) Freddy and Adrian were created (from 12 years till this present day)



After that, my creativity of Art continued to improve. God has given me an attitude "I must find a way to complete this." This can be very dangerous and risky, yet in the end, it always brings God's glory. The things which I had done in Chapter 103 are all completed because of my "stubborn" attitude. I always say, "I must finish this. There must be a way!"

From this childhood memory, I truly understand the meaning when God says "For I know the plan I have for you," Since before I was born, God has already placed a name for me "Jack", meaning "God is gracious". And He placed me a talent of creativity before I was in my mother's womb. God is awesome! He knows me because He is my Creator.

And I truly experience the meaning of "God has a plan for you." Right now, though my video business is not yet started, I will put my trust in my God. From a child who only knows how to draw only, yet he expanded his creativity through multimedia, and now he is opening for his own video busines through this God-given talent. I have the faith that God has planned for my future. God will plan some challenges for me to go through, and in the end, I will glorify His Holy name! Hallelujah! For what He has planned for me will lead me to do His will - to share Jesus Christ to the world.



Through these challenges, I will stand strong and receive great future and hope in God. And I also believe that God has a plan for you, readers (whether Christians or not). Commit your plan and your future into the hand of the Potter. He will bless you and He will grant prosperity in your life...

...for this is God's magnificent plan.

Chapter 113: Canon Sylvia Jeans

Last Friday at 2PM, when I returned back from Labuan, I immediately called Canon Sylvia Jeans who is a missionary from Australia.

"Ibu, I am Jack. What time do you want me to do the videography?"
"Hey! Jack. I am glad that you find me. 2:30PM, we will start our video shooting."

Wow! Half an hour left!

Without hesitation, I rushed to STS after the arrival. Grabbed a handy camera which Canon had borrowed from STS, rushing to her house. And I was surprised to see that there were so many local and foreign teachers in her house. And I realised that she used her house as a school for illegal children. All the children were Filipinos. I was impressed by her love. Therefore, I found out that her house was served as a mission field.

She had came to Sabah for more than forty years, serving God, stayed celibacy and faithfully working in God's ministry. She has greatly blessed the interior areas especially the Filipinos and Indonesians. She had been sharing the gospel with her whole life without fail. I was thinking her endurance is truly great. I believe she has faced many hardships and she perseveres till this present day.

I was also impressed by those missionaries who are willing to work with her in Sabah. How I wish one day, I can conquer my dream and goal to fulfill the sharing of gospel in other nations. I want to go to other countries to do missions.

After the video shooting, she invited me into her house. She had eight dogs in her house. All were well fed and fat. We spent another hour to talk and I was shocked that she actually knew that I had left the full time job in All Saints' Cathedral. She did ask me why I quitted the full time. Her face was full of love and care. My heart melted. The way she asked me was very sincere, and she hoped that I would not turn away from God. My answer to her was...

"I want to pursue my dream. And I am still continuing my journey with God. One day, I will fulfil His task in my life."

She was glad to hear that. And I also shared with her about my mission in Wa, Myanmar. She told me not to give up and continue to hold on to the divine calling of God. I agreed and felt touched that someone truly believed what I had just said. In the end, she prayed for me that I will always stay in tune with God.

God, be with me. And I will continue to fight for You. You had called Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ and You had sent Him to this world to save the lost. And now we had received Your Son as our Lord. Truly beliving in Him, we are saved. Therefore, now He, in the same way, calls us to do God's will (which God has sent Him to do),

...and He also sent us to go.

Isaiah 48:15
"I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him. I will bring him, and he will succeed in his mission."

Chapter 112: God Answers Prayer

There was a man who steps into a unfamiliar place.

At his back, he saw no help from people.
At his front, he saw no diretion in the new place.


At that time, he was very panic and stressed. He did not know what to do, but to pray to his God.

"God, since You have led me to a new place, please guide me through Your way. I do not have anyone to depend on. Only You, God, I can depend on."

While he was still searching for a way to stay survived, he prayed, "God, I do not know how to move on my life. What is my next step of life?"

When he looked for his closed one, he prayed, "God, as I wanted to strike the best for you, it seems that my closed one does not seem to care about my future."

When he saw his friends, he prayed, "It seems that they are apart from me, and now I seriously know who my true friends are."

When he met new friends, he prayed, "I found out that the new friends are willing to help me even more than the previous ones. I understand the meaning of Good Samaritan."

When he was finding a way to earn his living, he prayed "God, show me a sign so that I will know what to do. I seriously wanna pursue my goal and conquer my dream to reveal Your Glory."

After he prayed, he saw signs, "God, now I know I need two jobs. I always thought I need one. Show me the way how to move on to the second job."

After he prayed, he saw another sign,
"God, now I know this is true that You had showed me this way. I will pursue it! However, the way You showed me needs a great investment. I need Your provision."

After he prayed, his new friends, his parents, and his real good buddies told him the same thing without asking them for advice. "God, this is not a coincidence. If this is really the way, show me that it works smoothly."

After he prayed, he faced some difficulties which hinder him to achieve his goal. "God, I trust in You. Though I am afraid, though I cannot see the future, yet You are my fortress and my provider. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want."

After he prayed, he saw helps from God, and it worked in the end! "Oh God! You are truly my God! You are the living God who listens to us. You do not only listen, You act! Lord, we are sinners! Yet You love us wholeheartedly and show me the way of living out faith."

After he prayed, many came to support him and encourage to pursue his goal. "God, now I truly see who my true friends are. They will support me and encourage me. God, You are not only my God, but also my best friend."


In conclusion, God answered all his questions when he prayed.

1) The next step of life - When no one including the closed ones helped him, Good Samaritans came to help him.

2) A sign to know what to do - Two jobs at a time. He thought he only needs a job, but God showed him two!

3) A way to great investement - All came to the same idea, and it worked smoothly!

4) A hardship of depression - God revealed Himself as a fortress, provider and shepherd.

5) A faith to trust in God - God showed His way to prove that God reigns in his life. God revealed Himself as a friend.

6) Receiving God's help - To show that honoring parents is very important.

1 John 4:6
"We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood."

This person who went through this is Jack's Stuff. One of the witness who saw all these incidents is Michael Mok.
