Chapter 119: Continue to Move on
I praise God for His mercy. Once I got my camcorder, I will start to make business. I do pray that God will continue to bless in my journey. I need Him in my life.
As I was doing something in my room, my daddy entered my room and sat on my bed. He had a long conversation with me. Then he began to say something about lifestyle.
"Jack, as we show our good deeds to others, God will delight in it. Wherever we are in, no matter what circumstances we will face, we must be faithful in what we are doing. I believe when we are placed in that particular position, and when we do our best in that position, God will certainly bless us and others through our particular positions. Hence, we must do our best for God."
I was thinking that it is true. Not only to evangelize, to preach the Gospel, we must also live out our faith for Jesus Christ. We are called to be the light and the salt for Jesus. Therefore, in our Christian lifestyle, we must show our deeds to others and they will see and know who God is in our life.
God, I continue to ask for Your leading, and I shall not be afraid to move forward. Sometimes people around me (whom I do not even know) say something about me being misleading and giving wrong teachings, what do they know about my relationship with God? Why should I argue with them? No matter what they say about me, I do not care. But if I see any good advice for those who show me true sincerity and love, I will surely take it. And I will seriously thank those people who are part of my life, building me up and strong in Christ. For I know they wanna see my success in glorifying God.
I will continue to live for You in what I am doing, God. It is because that is my relationship with my Lord, Jesus Christ. I will not give up. I will continue to move on.
God, be with me.
Psalms 146:2
"I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

Chapter 114: God's Magnificent Plan
I could not believe at first, I am investing in a videography business. What do I need now?
1) Video Camcorder
2) Laptop
3) Printer
4) CD and CD casings
5) Namecards
6) Friends
7) Business
I do not know whether I have made the right choice. However, God has answered some of my difficulties in getting these items. It is extremely hard. For normal people, they have already given up and move on a normal job. I do not want this. I want to challenge myself into this society where I can meet many people. Hence, Gospel can be shared. First in Malaysia, second is the world.
When I recalled back my childhood, I do not know that I will end up starting a video business. However, as I thought it over, I realised that God has actually started the gift of creativity in me when I was five years old. I did not truly understand this until I decided to start a video business.
Childhood memories:
1) First Rank in drawing (Kindergarten)
2) Start drawing my own face, though failed (6 years old)
3) Start my own comic. (9 years)
4) Creating my own characters (10 years)
5) Representing my Primary School for Art Competition (11 years old)
6) Freddy and Adrian were created (from 12 years till this present day)
After that, my creativity of Art continued to improve. God has given me an attitude "I must find a way to complete this." This can be very dangerous and risky, yet in the end, it always brings God's glory. The things which I had done in Chapter 103 are all completed because of my "stubborn" attitude. I always say, "I must finish this. There must be a way!"
From this childhood memory, I truly understand the meaning when God says "For I know the plan I have for you," Since before I was born, God has already placed a name for me "Jack", meaning "God is gracious". And He placed me a talent of creativity before I was in my mother's womb. God is awesome! He knows me because He is my Creator.
And I truly experience the meaning of "God has a plan for you." Right now, though my video business is not yet started, I will put my trust in my God. From a child who only knows how to draw only, yet he expanded his creativity through multimedia, and now he is opening for his own video busines through this God-given talent. I have the faith that God has planned for my future. God will plan some challenges for me to go through, and in the end, I will glorify His Holy name! Hallelujah! For what He has planned for me will lead me to do His will - to share Jesus Christ to the world.

Through these challenges, I will stand strong and receive great future and hope in God. And I also believe that God has a plan for you, readers (whether Christians or not). Commit your plan and your future into the hand of the Potter. He will bless you and He will grant prosperity in your life...
...for this is God's magnificent plan.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Chapter 96: Doulos at Youth Cell
7 people from Doulos came to our Youth Cell and give us a 40 minutes presentation.
As one Mongolian woman was assigned into our group, she started to share about her life. Her English was not good, and she needed much effort to express herself and letting us knowing that Jesus Christ is really important in her life. As a conclusion, she was trying her best to convince the youths to put Jesus first into their lives.
She was not well-trained in her preaching and sharing. I was thinking that she was not even guided to know what she would be sharing to us. However, I appreciate her passion - to convince the youths in the right way. Her actions and her passion reminded me when I was in Myanmar mission.
When I was first sent to Myanmar for God's mission, I was not trained. I was not familiar with Bible. I only believed that Holy Spirit led me to that place and preach the gospel. At that time, when I was sharing the gospel, I was very passionate and kept on sharing about Jesus Christ. It was extremely difficult because I did not know any Theology. I only started my journey with God during that time. In other words, I did not have many testimonies to share too. Yet the Holy Spirit led me and guided me on sharing Jesus Christ. On that year in Myanmar, more than 300 people accepted Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as I looked back to this Mongolian woman, I did not despise her way of sharing. Though she was not trained, I appreciate her passion. That is why God always chooses those who have no experience before. Hence, those people will humble themselves and depend on God at all times.
After the sharing, Roy was singing "Light of the World". As the music went on, and Holy Spirit ministered us, Cava (one of our youths) bowed down and prayed. I was surprised that he actually did that. That was the touching moment when a person who was not passionate for Jesus Christ came to bow down and pray! God, I thank You for leading this young guy. It was indeed touching.
Luke 12:12
"for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say."

Chapter 91: Doulos Ship
Last Tuesday, my sister Rachel recommended me to try the ice cream on Doulos Ship. She said, "The Ice Cream is really nice! You must try it!"
Hence, we went there.
As I was entering the ship, I saw many books and different kinds of bible. No doubt. It was very stuffy. Everyone in there was sweating. I also met many church friends. And I was surprised to see that many people were quening for one thing. And I did not know it could be the Doulos Ice Cream!
After buying the Ice cream (the ice cream really tastes nice), we were about to leave the ship, one crew who was standing in front of the exit door, gave everyone a Doulos card. I read the card, at the same time, walking back to my car.
I read...
"20 million people in over one hundred countries have visited the onboard book fair.
"The all-volunteer crew serve on board as a practical expression of their Christian faith. Their lifestyle and personal experiences are testimony of lives transformed by God's love.
"The international crew and staff you met come from over 50 nations, but they all have one important thing in common: each one has chosen to live as a follower of Jesus Christ."
As I was reading the card, I was amazed with the founder of Doulos. He must have a big vision which aroused him to start this ship. Where does the fund come from? What about the maintenance fees? There are many troubles which he may face. However, he pursued it. Great! He aroused those who have the same vision to serve onboard to reach out different nations.
I really appreciate those who work in Doulos. They give their life for Jesus Christ and reach out people in nations and serving them with God's love. And they are mostly young people.
Last thing which impresses me the most...
The world knows that Doulos is a Christian ship. Yet it was accepted throughout the nations. Nations give Doulos a port to settle down and launch its bookfair. What about Islamic nations? What about Buddhists' and Hindus' nations? They stopped missionaries from sharing gospel in their nations. Yet they allowed Gospel to enter their country? Isn't it funny? So they should know the ultimate purpose of Doulos is to share Jesus Christ throughout the world.
Matthew 24:14
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
God, You are great! No one can stop You from sharing Gospel. As the followers of Jesus Christ are increasing, the Gospel will be widely spread in a rapid speed. God, have mercy upon us, sinners. Save us from our sin.

Chapter 43: Miss the Feeling
During the fellowship of family group, Dr Frank Gee, my lecturer, asked me, “Do you have any good news to tell us? How has God blessed your week?”
“2 new friends who are non-Christians accepted Christ on last Saturday.” I gladly answered.
“That was indeed GREAT news, Jack! Praise the Lord!” he joyfully exclaimed.
These 2 new friends are the ones who will attend the Youth Alpha as I had mentioned in previous chapter. During the Earth Hour, I challenged the 2 new friends who were Non-Christians in youth cell. I was really glad that my youth really started to bring new friends into youth cell. I know that I need to grab every opportunity to share gospel to non Christians. I believe that it is not easy to bring new friends to church. My youth must be putting a lot of efforts to invite her friends to church. I did not want to waste her efforts and we bring no fruit in the end.
The good thing is that when the 2 new friends received Christ, my youths (two girls) were so happy! It seems that ASC youth has no one who received Christ for a long time. The moment I approached them and said, “Good news! The new friends had just received Christ. Follow them up properly. Write this in your cell report.”
One of the girls was so joyfully that she was jumping up and down, lifting up her hands saying, “Yahoo! Today is really my good day.”
This is the real joy which I had mentioned in Chapter 35: Unspeakable Joy. Even though I did not react like her, I was so joyful in my heart, praising God, saying, “God, all glory be to You. Thank You for using me in Your Kingdom”
It has been a long time that I did not share gospel. I have challenged only 6 persons to receive Jesus Christ last year: 2 in KK, 1 in Australia (through MSN) and 3 in Tawau. I know "6 persons" is very little, quite shameful. It is really joyful though when you see someone whom you challenge has received Christ.
I kinda miss the feeling of evangelism.
God, I still remember my prayer request
– to preach the gospel in front of millions.
I wish that really happened in my life.
God, please fulfill my wish.
Please... God... (begging for God's mercy)
Romans 10:15
“And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Chapter 42: Please God or Men?
Continued from Chapter 41: Unacceptable Attitude
Readers, if you were me, can you stand those arrogant boys’ attitude? Do you feel disappointed when those people disrespect our God and show no reverence to our God?
On the same night, while I was helping out the Adult Alpha Course, there was an aunt asking me curiously, “Jack, why are you so fierce and strict to ASAA students? Are you scared actually?”
WHAT THE...? I'm scared?

Normally, when a person speaks loudly in public, it is because he wants to overcome his fear towards the people. However, this aunt got it all wrong. Am I scared?
Absolutely NO!!
Those, who are close to me, should know that I am not welcomed by many. I do not even care about my reputation especially when it comes to a stage where I have to stand firm in the presence of God. Am I here to please God or please men?
Galatians 1:10
"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
That aunt, acting like a teacher, continued to said, “Jack, you should not speak so loudly. You should speak gently to those students. You will scare them away. These students are different. You need to deal them with love, gentleness and softness.”
I forgave her for she did not know the whole situation. Deal with gentleness and softness? Come on, man!
Are they still babies? Need me to spoon-feed them? It is because they are different, so I should rebuke them seriously. Even the Junior students are better than them.
Did she know that the senior students were sleeping while I was mobilizing Youth Alpha? Am I supposed to say gently, "Hello, everyone. Please wake up. Listen to me, please."
This is NOT CHILDREN CELL.
When I spoke loudly to them, does it mean I don’t love them? Indeed, it will not affect my emotion even if there are only 2 persons who attend the Youth Alpha. My task is to share the gospel. Even if there are only 2 persons, I will still share the gospel wholeheartedly.
Do you think I will feel very down and upset because the attendance is only 2 persons?
Of course not!
Think carefully!! If only 2 persons came to Youth Alpha, this shows that the Favor of God falls on these 2 persons.
How blessed are
those who hear and receive the gospels sincerely.
When you met this kind of situation and you know you will waste your time explaining the whole program (because you know they will not listen), is it wrong to speak loudly to get their attention?
I teach you!! If you face this in future, you should give them a strong and powerful rebuke.
To me, I have done my part sincerely. I, as a servant of God, represent God to promote His word (Youth Alpha) to people. Now who’s not listening? Can I control their mind? Even in the Old Testament, the prophets scolded and rebuked the people, do you think they will be welcomed by the people? Do you think they are loved by people? Do you think the people listen? When the prophets scolded and rebuked the people, does it mean they did not love the people?

Readers, Who likes to be scolded and rebuked by me? No one likes it! In fact, this is my true love to them. I tell you the truth. If I do not even rebuke those senior students, it means I do not care about their salvation. If they come to Youth Alpha, I will surely take it seriously to share the gospel to them.
