Chapter 138: An Uneasy Slight Pain
It’s been a few weeks that I did not really sit down and relax. I have been pursuing straight towards my goal. I felt very excited and passionate about my goal. I cannot wait to see God’s glory in my future. I wanna find any possibility to reach my goal in the shortest time, in the fastest way…
...till yesterday I fell sick.
At that time, my dear came to take care of me. Buying me hot congee and preparing all the medicine. I thanked God for her last night. She had been a great help to me when I was down lying on bed, doing nothing. I could not do anything but to look at her worried face. I still could feel the wetness of the towel while she was wiping my face. As I could look into her eyes, she was telling me something…
“Please do not fall sick again. I am extremely worried.”
At that moment, my body started to urge me by taking care of it. There was an uneasy slight pain from my chest. I guess my body had started to give me a warning signal. And I started to feel something wrong in my lifestyle. Though we all need God in our life, what’s life all about?
I began to understand by living life in contentment, by having healthy lifestyle in common, by enjoying fruitful days in seasons, right now, I then understand I have totally lost contact with my precious body.
I used to write a chapter talking about cherishing our precious body, yet what am I doing here? I neglected my body for quite some time since I started to serve in church as a full time servant. At that time, I only thought of serving God and let God handling the rest. However, at this time, I believe it is not supposed to work in this way. God also wants us to rest well and make our body functioning as it used to be. I felt sorry for my body and I started to promise my dear saying,
“I will sleep early from today onwards.” (plus exercise)
Proverbs 3:7-9
"Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
Honor the LORD with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops."

Chapter 105: An Old Lady
Yesterday, I was studying in McDonald, Api Api Center. I was doing my final assignment - New Testament.
Then there was an old lady who walked past me. "She was bent over and could not straighten up at all." (Luke 13:11) I immediately recalled on the sermon which Rev Yong had preached on one of the Sunday services. It was about the woman who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. I was not sure whether this old lady whom I met in McDonald was crippled by a spirit.
The way she walked, and the she looked at people, I felt compassionate for her. I truly realized how difficult and suffering it is when our back were bent over for EIGHTEEN YEARS! If Jesus is around there, will he "called her forward and said to her, 'Woman, you are set free from your infirmity'?" (Luke 13:12)
Readers, we can learn one thing about this old lady. Look at yourself. Your body is totally fine. That is why I always say cherish your body. It is because God only gives our body once in the lifetime. I do not understand why people intend to spoil their body when they were given a fine body. Look at those people who are crippled or handicapped! If they were given a second chance to have a fine body, they will surely understand the meaning of life. They will definitely do something which is meaningful.
I believe the crippled woman in the New Testament, after the healing of Jesus, would start a purposeful life, such as helping those who were crippled. She would have the same compassion for others.
Readers, cherish your body. And always give thanks to God for He is merciful to you. Furthermore, those who view my blog now, give thanks to God for you still have eyes to see the beautiful creation around you. Always give thanks unto our Lord God Almighty. Amen!
Exodus 23:25
"Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,"

Chapter 95: Pneumonia
"Jack, time to have lunch?"
"Ya, why not?"
My best buddy, Finian, called me for lunch. Hence, we decided to meet at Starbuck Coffee, Warisan Square.
When I reached there, I saw Finian talking to another man. As that man turned around, HEY!!! Archdeacon John!!!
In the end, Archdeacon John joined us for lunch.
I was glad to see Archdeacon John recovered from his sickness. Last two weeks, he was in a serious situation where no one was allowed to visit him. The doctor gave a serious warning that no visitor was allowed during his medical leave. I even heard that he could not even walk around and found himself seriously weak. We can imagine that he was really sick!
During the lunch, I asked him, "What's the disease?"
"Pneumonia." (a sickness which the liver is infected. It can be fatal)
Health is very important in our life. Readers, do take care of yourself, because God only gives us one body. We do need to cherish the goodness of God. For us who are working, we hardly find time to rest or sleep. To us, sleeping time is one of the most important things in our life. So, when there is time to rest, rest. When there is time to exercise, exercise. When there is time to relax, relax. When there is time to sleep, by all means, sleep. Regain the strength once again, and start everything afresh again!
Psalms 63:1
"O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water."
I praise God that Archdeacon John is away from fatal possibility. He is now safe in the hand of God. God is faithful. He will take care of His faithful servant.
Moreover, Archdeacon John is like my spiritual father.

Chapter 28: Hebrew Language
I have been attending a Hebrew Language class. I thought Jack’s Stuff only learns Cwalk, now he even learns Hebrew Language! Crazy man! If you can read the Hebrew words in the picture below, you are crazily fantastic!
My Hebrew Oral Exam... (Gosh!)
As we were listening to History of Hebrew, Hebrew is one of the earliest languages during Noah’s time. Hebrew Language is written from right to left. If we read the text from left to right, we will never understand the meaning. Most of the people might think Christianity is from the Caucasians. Before I am a Christian, I always thought the original language of the Bible is English. Christianity is originally from Jewish.
During the time of Noah, there was only one language. Yet now we have thousands of different languages in this world. How can it be?
Genesis 11: 1, 4, 8 - 9
“Now the whole world had one language and a common speech…
Then they said, ‘Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may have a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the earth.’…
So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel (confused) – because there the Lord confused the languages of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.”
Chinese language is also one of the earliest languages after the tower of Babel. Look at this word.

Genesis 7:13 tells us: "On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark."
How could the Chinese know about Noah having eight members in his family during the time of flood if they were not one of those people who were separated from Tower of Babel? Look again.
This is only one example. There are thousands more examples!

The books in Old Testament were written in Hebrew Language. Some of the books in New Testament were written in Greek; some were in Hebrew. Very interesting! The people of God in early days used Hebrew language to communicate with one another. I cannot believe that I am learning a language which our Lord, Jesus Christ used to speak when He was on this earth.
