Chapter 127: Those People Behind

After I had supper with my brother, we were sitting there and watching the FIFA soccer. As one goal was shot in, my brother said "This is a fantastic goal!"


Though I have no interest in watching soccer, I was amazed by that soccer player. I was thinking about one thing. To be a soccer player in one of the FIFA teams is NEVER easy. Though we only see a team (e.g. Manchester United) in the field, and of course with some substitutes who are sitting on the benches, yet we do not see the thousands of people behind who wanted to join the team of Manchester United. And those thousands are talented in soccer too!

I must be wondering those people must be striving hard to get an opportunity to enter the team. Once one of them are qualified to enter the Manchester United, he will probably get a chance to perform in the field. And that will be their life moment to do their best in order to get fame in FIFA.

Hence, let us think about this, what about our life? What purpose do we have? If we have the talent in our hands, why not strive the best for our great dreams?

I said to my bro, "I admire those soccer players, because they had conquered their dreams to get into field, and play soccer. I believe they must be struggling tons of hardship before they could get into one of the teams. Now look at them, the whole worldwide is watching them playing soccer. I do believe their feeling will be great when they are selected to be the main players."

He replied, "Do you know those are expensive players? This is true that among all talented people they are the selected ones. How great it is if I'm the selected one."



God, I really want to be a successful man in my life. You have given me this life, and this life is depending on my performances though You reign in my life. I will not give up on my dream. I will pursue till I achieve mine.

Chapter 105: An Old Lady

Yesterday, I was studying in McDonald, Api Api Center. I was doing my final assignment - New Testament.

Then there was an old lady who walked past me. "She was bent over and could not straighten up at all." (Luke 13:11) I immediately recalled on the sermon which Rev Yong had preached on one of the Sunday services. It was about the woman who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. I was not sure whether this old lady whom I met in McDonald was crippled by a spirit.

The way she walked, and the she looked at people, I felt compassionate for her. I truly realized how difficult and suffering it is when our back were bent over for EIGHTEEN YEARS! If Jesus is around there, will he "called her forward and said to her, 'Woman, you are set free from your infirmity'?" (Luke 13:12)

Sitting in diffculty

Readers, we can learn one thing about this old lady. Look at yourself. Your body is totally fine. That is why I always say cherish your body. It is because God only gives our body once in the lifetime. I do not understand why people intend to spoil their body when they were given a fine body. Look at those people who are crippled or handicapped! If they were given a second chance to have a fine body, they will surely understand the meaning of life. They will definitely do something which is meaningful.

I believe the crippled woman in the New Testament, after the healing of Jesus, would start a purposeful life, such as helping those who were crippled. She would have the same compassion for others.

Struggling in opening the door

Readers, cherish your body. And always give thanks to God for He is merciful to you. Furthermore, those who view my blog now, give thanks to God for you still have eyes to see the beautiful creation around you. Always give thanks unto our Lord God Almighty. Amen!

Chapter 1: The Heart of Jack's Stuff

I am Jack. I have my own logo “Jack’s Stuff”. Actually I am just an ordinary guy. People always thought I am a model.

The truth is that I wanna be someone extraordinary. I live in a small world. I feel that I am locked in a cage. I wanna expose myself into a bigger universe to find out more about myself. My purpose of life is NOT to do a repetition of lifestyle, but to fulfil something GREATER.

I wanna try something different – which I would NEVER even imagined that I could do it. Now I only have one thing which is worthy to go for… the path of searching Greater Glory of God.

I feel that no one knows about my existence. I do not want to live in a world that no one knows about me.

I finally found a new purpose of life – to make myself well-known in this world. I just want people in this world to recognize me. That’s a simple request yet hard to fulfill. I do not want money. I do not need any luxury. I do not want to earn lots of money. I find it very meaningless. Earning lots of money is a repetition of life.

I wanna challenge myself. From now, I will try my best to let people recognize my brand “Jack’s Stuff”. To let people know about my existence – my purpose of life.

This challenging game - search for Greater Glory of God - is between me and God. If God's willing, I will be famous in this world one day.

Jesus, Your will be done.
