These few months, I had been facing financial problems - no business in both video and Prudential. I was really panic about my life. And I did not know what to do with my life. During that time, all I can do is to sit down and pray.
However, I had a strong sense telling me that I must be faithful to God. I must believe God is my provider. No matter what I had faced previously, I did see the miracles which God worked in my life especially tithing.
Last two weeks, I was in a poor condition. I only had a little bit of my money left. What did I do about it? At that time, I was busy with my sister's wedding. I was her videographer. Spending for about two weeks preparing the videos, I did not receive any business at all.
After sister's wedding, I went to church on that Sunday, while worshiping God, thinking in mind, "God, I gonna honor You with what I had left. I do believe You will provide. You are my shepherd."

With all faith and confidence, including joy, I tithe my money (considering all, not necessary exactly 10% of our income), saying "God, I trust you. God, I trust You." After that, my heart was filled with peace, and knowing God is with me. My heart kept telling me, "You did the right thing. Now go in peace and God shall be with you."
When I stepped out of the church after worship service, I received a phone call, "Jack, we need you to do videography for Pre-Wedding. There will be on both Monday and Tuesday."
When I returned home, opening my facebook, I saw my client saying, "Jack, I want to buy insurances for both of my children. When can we meet?"
When I stayed at home, making the video of my sister's wedding, I did not ask a single cent from her and her husband, I truly wanted to bless them with my videography, and I love my sister. Therefore, my father came to me and give me money, "Jack, I am pleased with what you have done for your sister. I am very happy. And now you deserve it."
When I went to shoot video on Monday, one of the workers, Ah Yan, laughed at me, saying, "Jack, I wanna sympathize you. Tomorrow (Tuesday), you need to shoot two couples for Pre Wedding. You have no rest in between. Oh pity!"
I immediately praised God for His faithfulness. God did not only provide two video business on Monday and Tuesday, but three altogether.
Readers, this is no joke. God is watching us.
As I tithe, God remembers...
Malachi 3:10
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."

Yesterday, while rushing my assignments, feeling hungry, ready to go for lunch...
Suddenly, an email popped in...
"you may leave us officially on the 15th October..." Bishop said.
Indeed, I was shocked to see this news. I guess my time is up in the church. It is true that I do not have to waste any time in serving in the church too. Since I had made up my mind, I might as well move forward to achieve my goal.
I had packed all my things in my room. I will leave All Saints' Cathedral on this Thursday. To speak frankly, I was extremely upset to see this email out of the sudden.

I still love the church. Thanks everyone in the church. I grew much in church. Though we have been serving together in church, facing many hardships, many issues, much sorrow, much happiness, much rebukes, much learning... all of these will be in my memory for the rest of my days.
Right now at this moment, I just wanna take a long break to cut off from every church ministry. I wanna devote myself into God. I wanna spend more time with God. When will I start to serve in church ministry again? God knows...
God, at this time, I only want to be with You.
Refresh me, O God. I shall return back to my goal and pursue once again!
God, I need to rest in You for You are my refuge and fortress.
Psalms 16:1
"Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge."

On the way to STS school, I was worrying about one thing. As I was entering into the theater for Choir practice, I managed to take a breath out. As I was thinking whether I should discuss the problem with my lecturer, she came and sat besides me, smiled and said,
“Jack, you will be the narrator
for the choir presentation on 11 April 2009.”
What?! Eyes widely opened.
Astonished!!

That is the problem which I was about to tell my lecturer. STS will be having a choir presentation on Saturday, 11 April 2009. It is about Easter Celebration. I supposed to assist ASC youth ministry on every Saturday. I was thinking whether Bishop will allow us to join the STS choir on tat day.
People always tell us to put the first priority – the church ministry. I know that the youth ministry is important to me. However, the choir presentation is one of the compulsory events for my credit hour. (Credit hour – those who have studied in college or university will understand what I said.) Choir is one of the school requirements which all students MUST attend and join in choir.
If I choose church ministry, my credit hour which is compulsory will be gone. If I choose the STS choir presentation, my credit hour will be earned.
How am I going to bring this matter to Bishop? How should I tell my lecturer? Will she be angry? Will others think that Anglican is very arrogant? Will Bishop allow? Will Bishop be angry too? (I am not saying that he is a bad guy.) Furthermore, I really do not want to create a division between Anglican and others in STS.
God, again I am stuck in ministry and study, additionally political issue too. Now, I have one more task to do. Both are important. Which one should I choose?
“Jack, you are playing a very important role. You are representing the whole STS choir to do the narration. We are all depending on you.”
Now, if you are in my shoes, which one do you choose: Credit Hour or Church ministry?

John 14:1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me (Jesus Christ).”
